Fallowfield Ottawa: A fatal collision on Fallowfield Road in Ottawa has left one person dead and another critically injured, with police continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The Ottawa Police Service said officers responded at approximately 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, following a head-on collision involving two vehicles just west of the intersection of Fallowfield Road and Old Richmond Road.
One of the drivers, a man in his 20s, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The crash prompted a significant emergency response, and Fallowfield Road was closed between Eagleson Road and Old Richmond Road while investigators examined the scene. The roadway was later reopened shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Police have not publicly identified the deceased driver. Investigators are now asking witnesses, residents with security cameras and motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
